U.K.’s Global acquires AudioHQ which becomes DAX, bringing that programmatic platform to U.S.

In one of the most interesting and consequential deals we’ve reported this year, UK radio juggernaut Global has acquired U.S. digital audio advertising company AudioHQ. Linked with that, Global will launch DAX, its programmatic audio ad platform, in the U.S., operated by AudioHQ — whose name will change to DAX. We spoke with the principles.

AudioHQ and TuneIn join for exclusive ad partnership

AudioHQ announced that it will be the exclusive reseller for TuneIn’s audio ad inventory in the U.S. through a new multi-year deal. TuneIn has more than 75 million monthly active listeners for its content, including sports, music, news, podcasts, and audiobooks.

AudioHQ teams with talkSPORT for U.S. distribution and sales

AudioHQ and ART19 cement alliance

When AudioHQ announced the release of its original Bronzeville podcast series, one of the forces intersecting in that project was ART19, the podcast tech company which hosts the series. Long-awaited AudioHQ-produced drama “Bronzeville” set for Feb. 7 release

The most star-packed podcast we’ve seen, both in the cast and production team, is set for its 10-episode launch on Feb. 7, nearly a year after it was announced. Developed by audio advertising sales company AudioHQ, in collaboration with Cinema Gypsy Productions and TateMen Entertainment, the show is called Bronzeville. With its Hollywood power, the venture might a new benchmark for production value and talent investment in the audio drama category.

AudioHQ signs exclusive ad deal with Digitally Imported

The exclusive partnership is for the United States and will begin in 2017. Digitally Imported joins an AudioHQ client roster that also includes SoundCloud, Slacker, 8tracks, and Triton Digital.

AudioHQ to launch first original audio series with Laurence Fishburne and Larenz Tate

Until today, MixRadio was available only on Microsoft desktop and mobile platforms. Today, the Internet radio service expands to Android and Apple devices. AudioHQ announced that it has entered into an exclusive ad-repping deal for all U.S. inventory across platforms.
