Podcast Radio (UK) adds Curiouscast shows to DAB+ broadcast lineup

Podcast Radio, the all-digital, all-podcast radio station heard in London, Surrey, Manchester, and Glasgow, has partnered with Curiouscast, the Canadian podcast network and part of the Corus Entertainment Network. Prisa renews with Triton Digital and expands relationship

We received word today that Prisa, the world’s largest spanish-speaking radio group, and a podcast producer, has re-upped with Triton Digital for a broad range of Triton services. They include delivery, monetization, and measurement of its digital audio assets including live radio, on-demand programming, and podcast audio. Prisa will continue to be measured in the Triton Digital Webcast Metrics Top 20 Ranker of streaming entities. Prisa will also put its podcasts in Omny Studio, a Triton Digital subsidiary. Megaphone gets more sports podcasts, signs The Athletic

Enterprise podcast host and ad tech company Megaphone has signed sports publisher The Athletic to its platform, increasing the volume and range of the sports content hosted in its podcast marketplace.The Athletic website shows dozens of podcasts in sports castegories ranging from Fantasy Football to Sports Business, Boxing to UK Women’s Football. Amaze Media Labs launches to create podcasts and events for brands

Three executives have teamed up to launch an agency which will create branded podcasts and branded events, sometimes in combination. Called Amaze Media Labs, the company’s purpose is to connect brands to their audiences “in authentic and meaningful ways.” There will be a specialty on virtual events at first, with the company looking forward to a resumption of in-person gatherings. Nielsen is justifiably bragging today that is has signed NPR, one of the world’s most powerful podcast publishers, to Nielsen Podcast Buying Power, an insight service which matches genres to consumer purchase behavior patterns.
