Audio on-demand network Wondery commissioned a study from comScore that found one in three podcast listeners expect to increase their podcast consumption in the next six months. Respondents also reported feeling more connected, intelligent, and energized after listening to a podcast.

The company sponsored a brand impact study by comScore to investigate the streaming consumer experience. The results portray the streaming audience as one that’s accessible and open to marketing and brand initiatives.

Pandora tops comScore app list

Pandora was the mobile program with the most time spent in-app, according to the Mobile Metrix Key Measures report from comScore. The data reflected average minutes per visitor for U.S. adults, and Pandora clocked in with 1,271 minutes. It edged out ubiquitous social network Facebook for the top spot and had more than triple the average minutes for Netflix, the app for TV and movie streaming.

New comScore report: Mobile is huge for digital media, but favors well-established apps

comScore’s U.S. Mobile App Report covers some interesting ground in how people are (and aren’t) using their smartphones and tablets. Activity on mobile devices makes up 60 percent of digital media time in the U.S. The majority of that digital media is consumed through apps; those programs account for 52 percent of the country’s digital media time.

Research shows that Pandora is the top streaming service for Hispanics

The June data from comScore revealed that 25 percent of the service’s active monthly unique visitors, an audience of almost 19 million, are Hispanic. That’s enough people to make Pandora the top music streaming platform for the demographic of listeners, even compared with endemic Hispanic sites such as Univision Digital.
