The IFPI has released its annual global music report, offering a look back at the results for an increasingly international industry over the course of 2019. As we’ve already seen in so many individual markets, streaming is continuing to secure growing shares of the music market. 60-million people own smart speakers; usage grows (NPR/Edison Research Smart Audio Report)

Cisneros study: Puerto Ricans value digital audio, have increased consumption during COVID-19 quarantine

Cisneros Interactive and Brandwatch collaborated on an investigation into how the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted digital listeners in Puerto Rico. The results are based on 700 online surveys taken between March 23 and April 6. Quarantining has led many Puerto Rican listeners to place a higher value on audio content. Continue Reading
