Media giant Vox has notified us that Today, Explained, the company’s flagship daily news podcast hosted by Sean Rameswaram and Noel King, is now carried by over 50 public radio stations across the country. Tech leads podcast CPM rates for March (Libsyn / AdvertiseCast)
Technology podcasts earned the highest category CPM rate (cost per thousand ad plays) in March, according to Libsyn-owned AdvertiseCast. For the month, the average CPM for a 60-second podcast spot was $23.43, while the Tech category average was $32. Kids & Family posted a $28 CPM, and the Business category came in at $27. TuneIn adds MLB to its Premium sports programming
TuneIn is notifying us that the Premium subscription level of the streaming audio app has struck a distribution deal with Major League Baseball (MLB) to carry radio broadcasts of all 2022 games. TuneIn serves 75-million active monthly users. The Premium subscription is offered at $9.99/month, and includes major sports, music, news, and 100,000 global stations with reduced ads.
