TuneIn is announcing new European partnership deals that will bolster the platform’s Euro content offerings, and open new revenue expansion. The two new deals are with Dutch broadcasters Talpa Network/OMS and Audiohuis Amsterdam, and French broadcaster AirZen. Media giant Vox has notified us that Today, Explained, the company’s flagship daily news podcast hosted by Sean Rameswaram and Noel King, is now carried by over 50 public radio stations across the country. Technology podcasts earned the highest category CPM rate (cost per thousand ad plays) in March, according to Libsyn-owned AdvertiseCast. For the month, the average CPM for a 60-second podcast spot was $23.43, while the Tech category average was $32. Kids & Family posted a $28 CPM, and the Business category came in at $27.
