Omny Studio has entered an agreement to license its platform to CBS Radio. The arrangement grants CBS Radio access to Omny Studio’s podcast hosting, analytics, and social sharing tools. TuneIn has raised $50 million in support of growing its online radio portfolio. Marker LLC, IVP and Comcast Ventures led the funding round, which sources told Bloomberg values TuneIn at about $500 million. SoundCloud’s current financial struggles may be reaching their final act. Axios business editor Dan Primack has shared information from a missive reportedly sent to SoundCloud shareholders that said Friday is the do-or-die date for the company to accept or reject its present reorganization proposal. The Polaris Nordic Digital Music Survey 2017 surveyed residents in Norway, Sweden, Finland, and Denmark about their listening habits.
