Austria will offer its first DAB+ licenses next year. Media authority KommAustria has granted a license for a nationwide multiplex under the digital terrestrial radio platform. Eleven private radio programs are expected to be aired on DAB+ across the country beginning in April, and more are slated to join in the fall. Continue Reading

Sirius XM reported its Q2 2018 financial results, marking another successful period for the satellite radio business. Quarterly revenue rose 6% to $1.4 billion.
