U.S. stream listening slipped about 3% month-over-month in July, according to the Triton Digital Webcast Metrics Top 20 Ranker. As always, RAIN views the information through the lens of 6am – midnight, Monday through Sunday, in U.S. listening. The key metric is Average Active Sessions (AAS), which measures the average number of simultaneous listeners.
Pandora, leader of the pack, dropped three percent from June, at 1.87-million average active sessions. Number two-ranked iHeartRadio slipped by 2%.
Bright spots for the month include AccuRadio and Univision, both up 2%.
