Updated iHeartRadio Canada app brings together more radio, podcasts, and Sonos

iHeartRadio Canada has unveiled an enhanced version of its app that adds support for several more compatible platforms. The free service is now available on Apple Watch, Apple CarPlay, Android Wear, and Android Auto. It has also been made available for Sonos wireless speakers. iHeartRadio Canada said more platforms will be announced in the coming weeks.

The enhanced app now has more live radio stations and podcasts. There are now more than 1,000 live radio stations housed in iHeartRadio Canada. The podcast collection includes popular shows such as WTF with Marc Maron, The Joe Rogan Experience, and The Nerdist Podcast alongside Bell Media original shows including Mike on Much, Jay and Dan, and The TSN Hockey Bobcast.

“iHeartRadio Canada is the go-to source for people who are passionate about music and artists, and we’re thrilled to deliver more content to fans across Canada with the launch of our newly enhanced service,” said Rob Farina, Bell Media’s head of radio content, strategy, and iHeartRadio Canada. “With further access to diverse music and content, iHeartRadio Canada continues to bring unmatched access to Canadians with more platforms, exclusive features, live events, and more artist engagement.”
