SoundStack grabs execs from Veritonic, AdsWizz, and Libsyn

SoundStack, the self-defined “audio-as-a-service” podcast tech company, blasted into February by announcing a triple executive raid. Three new executives join SoundStack’s marketing, finance, and product groups.

They are:

Scott Klass joins SoundStack (actually five months ago, according to LinkedIn), becomes Chief Marketing Officer as of today. Previously SVP Marketing at Veritonic, Klass has led marketing for a range of technologies that were fundamental in programmatic advertising and audio. He was the head marketer at Right Media (acquired by Yahoo!) which built the first open exchange for digital advertising and established the programmatic category.

Bill Feichtman migrates to SoundStack as VP, Finance from AdsWizz, where he held the same title for six years, beginning as the company established its US headquarters until after its acquisition by Pandora Media / Sirius XM. He was responsible for all financial operations.

Tony Licon becomes Head of Product. Licon has built technology products for over 24 years, spanning podcasting, radio, streaming, 2D/3D design collaboration, and publishing. He comes to SoundStack most recently from podcast hosting company Libsyn, where he led its advertising product, including launching the company’s programmatic ad solutions over the past year.

SoundStack is the multifaceted audio/tech company for podcasters, webcasters at all levels, platforms, and advertisers. The company promotes the ease with which it makes audio creation, delivery, monetization, and analysis “simple and effective for everyone.” Components include Media Creek, EmpireStreaming, Abovecast, AudioCatapult, and Live365.
