Quick Hits: Round two from CES 2016

Connected cars vs radio: The International Business Times ran an article about the presence of connected cars at CES 2016. The piece points to the show as signaling that the era of connected vehicles is here, and that it has put terrestrial radio on a clock.

Pandora SVP’s car talk: In a video interview with AdWeek, Pandora’s SVP of Product Strategy Lizzie Windhelm discussed some of her own highlights from the show. She also touched on connected cars, not just as the tech of the future but as a marketing option.

iHeart partners for VR: iHeartMedia had an intriguing announcement out of Las Vegas. The company is partnering with Universal Music Group to create virtual reality experiences in the music space. It’s early enough in their collaboration that we don’t know exactly what those experiences might look like, but it could offer unexpected crossover between music and one of the tech world’s most exciting innovations.
