Sara Clemens has resigned as Pandora’s Chief Operating Officer. She steps down after more than two years with the company, although she will remain for an unspecified “transition period.” During her time with Pandora, she worked on its acquisitions of data company Next Big Sound and concert portal Ticketfly.
This move means that Pandora will be without a COO and without a CFO. Mike Herring had been acting as the company’s CFO in addition to his role as president when Tim Westergren assumed CEO duties in March. Last month, Pandora announced that it was officially on the hunt for a new person to fill the CFO role full-time so that Herring could focus on his tasks related to the launch of Pandora Premium, the on-demand service Pandora will bring to market in Q1 2017.
