Darren Herft has stepped down from his position as CEO of Guvera. The co-founder left the leadership role more than a week ago following the streaming service’s rejection from listing on the Australian Securities Exchange. Fellow co-founder Claes Loberg will take over as CEO in the interim, although Herft will keep his place on the company’s board.
After the IPO efforts were blocked, Guvera cut back its global presence and placed some assets into administration. Loberg also released a video attempting to remedy misunderstandings about Guvera’s goals. However, the company still faces serious financial pressure, with creditors still owed millions.
