TuneIn announced that it is expanding its partnership with Scottsdale-based broadcast technology company Skyview Networks. As a result, Skyview will process additional streams for the audio company, including more than 45 collegiate streams and sports simulcasts. Skyview was already responsible for engineering the process of preparing audio for digital readiness for other TuneIn channels and played a part in the monetization of those streams.
“It is a very exciting time for Skyview to continue expansion into the arena of digital media and we see the importance of providing digital technology solutions to our client service package,” said Ken Thiele, president of Skyview Networks. “The digital media segment continues to gain momentum among advertisers and listeners and we agree that TuneIn leads in quality content and its social user experience.”
TuneIn has secured several high-profile partners in recent months. It linked up with the Red Bull Music Academy and was able to stream Westwood One’s coverage of the Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.
