Spreaker Prime white-glove service made $1 million in its first quarter

Voxnest has shared initial statistics for its Spreaker Prime revenue-sharing program for up-and-coming podcasters. The service has generated $1 million in ad revenue during its first quarter of operation, with more than $600,000 of that total going directly to the podcasters. Spreaker Prime debuted on July 30.

The company allows podcasters with at least 5,000 downloads per month participate in the Spreaker Prime program, and said it has 140 users who meet that threshhold. Participants also join the Voxnest Audience Network, its programmatic marketplace. Voxnest told RAIN News that it sells its marketplace inventory through a combination of direct sales and agency relationships. In addition to the dynamic ad insertion, Spreaker Prime also offers members free hosting, support for marketing and promotion, and priority customer service.
