Former Vevo executive Tom Connaughton left the video platform for a position at Spotify in March and he’s already rising through the ranks. Connaughton initially joined the streaming company as head of artist and label marketing for the UK. Now he’s taking on the post of Managing Director, UK.
In this job, Connaughton will be responsible for leading the growth of Spotify’s overall UK business, with work touching on content strategy, artist partnerships, shows and editorial, and artist marketing. Spotify is currently recruiting for his replacement in the artist and label marketing role.
