Spotify partners with platform for music festival tickets

Spotify has entered a partnership with Festicket, a platform for book music festival travel. Users can connect their Spotify accounts to Festicket for the Festival Finder tool. The platform will review each individual’s streaming history and then suggest upcoming festivals to attend based on music preferences.

“We now offer over 1,000 festivals on the platform, and we know first-hand how overwhelming it can be when trying to pick out the one to go to,” Festicket Co-founder and CEO Zack Sabban said. “Our Festival Finder solves that problem by presenting a tailored list of festivals that best match your listening habits, including some under the radar gems that could soon become your new favourite festival destination.”

Spotify’s connections to live music spaces yielded $40 million in ticket sales in 2017.
