Spotify has released a new advertising campaign with a series of three quirky video clips. The spots are meant to capture the idea of a story behind each of the songs we listen to, according to agency Wieden+Kennedy New York, which created the initiative.
There’s an oddball vibe to each of the clips. The first is a throwback to the 1980s children’s movie The Never-Ending Story. The second makes light of the threats to move to Canada pending November’s presidential election results. And the third shows nuns in church playing air guitar and drums. All three also pitch a Spotify playlist at the end.
