SoundCloud has hired a former Google executive to join its C-suite ranks. Holly Lim is joining the audio company as CFO, the first to hold that role for SoundCloud. Her past work director of business operations for Google’s Cloud and Google for Work division. She was also CFO and COO ATAP, a mobile R&D lab Google took over in its Motorola acquisition.
SoundCloud’s finances have gotten more interesting in the past year with the addition of its SoundCloud Go subscription tier. On the flip side, it has also integrated ads, which has yielded partnerships with AdsWizz and DAX to manage the ads in different countries.
