Following on the announcement of its re-launch in July, SHOUTcast has unveiled three new products to complement its existing service. These options offer broadcasters simple approaches to generating revenue, building on the integration with TargetSpot and monetization options promised in the earlier news.
The first new product is the SHOUTcast Streaming Service, which was announced in July. This service features unlimited stream hosting and a revenue share program. SHOUTcast with Monetization integrates with the TargetSpot ad network through software that is compatible with Windows, Mac, and Linux systems. Last is SHOUTcast for CDN. This product has the least detail currently available, but it promises to help businesses “to easily begin generating revenue for themselves and their clients.”
All three products are free of charge, and interested broadcasters can sign up to use them beginning on Tuesday, Sept. 9 at the SHOUTcast website. SHOUTcast is owned by Radionomy, and TargetSpot is an ad network combined with Radionomy.
