Disruptive Launch
We Disrupt This Broadcast is a new podcast starting this month from the Peabody Awards in partnership with the Center for Media & Social Impact, and distributed by PRX. It’s monthly, which is unusual. The show features intimate interviews with award-winning television creatives — “medium-defining industry showrunners and writers,” we are told) shaping the future of entertainment with new narratives and creative approaches. The monthly show is hosted by Gabe González (comedian, writer and actor). A trailer and two episodes have dropped, HERE.
It’s That Time
The 2024 IAB Podcast Upfront has released its schedule and agenda. The hybrid event (NYC in person and online webcast) will be on Thursday, May 9. It’s an 8-to-6 all-day event attended by podcast professionals and audio advertising buyers. This year’s hosts are Jenna Kutcher (The Goal Digger podcast) and Rachel Rodgers (Hello Seven podcast).
