Les Hollander, veteran digital audio executive and frequent RAIN Summit speaker, has joined Global-owned DAX as Chief Growth Officer.
Hollander left Spotify in December after six and a half years as Global Head of Audio & Video Monetization. His career has included executive stints at Clear Channel, CBS, Pandora, and Gannett. At DAX, he will report to CEO Matt Cutair in New York and Guy Jones (Commercial Operations Director of DAX Worldwide) in London.
Hollander is tasked with enhancing DAX’s programmatic buying channels and podcast publisher offering, as well as educating the buying community to further develop and expand DAX in the region.
Matt Cutair commented: “At a time of significant growth, DAX required a Chief Growth Officer with an in-depth knowledge and proven expertise in scaling digital audio businesses. Having previously worked with Les at Pandora, I know from experience that he is perfectly placed to strengthen our strategic partnerships and help meet existing and future client demand. Les’ wealth of knowledge in the audio space will be an invaluable asset in accelerating our ongoing growth strategy and we are delighted to welcome him to the team.”
Hollander said: “DAX is a world-class organisation that strives for innovation in the digital audio advertising industry, which made my decision to join the company very easy. I look forward to consolidating DAX’s current successes as well as driving future developments across the US and Canada.”
