Following royalty adjustment, Deezer rebrands and seeks reinvention

Paris-based streaming music platform Deezer continues making news with a relaunched user experience, following a change in its royalty calculations.

The rebrand includes a new logo (bold and simple) and what the company calls an “experience services platform.” In our view the UX is clean and agreeable.

The relaunch happens close on the heels of new royalty calculations Deezer worked out with Universal Music Group (RAIN coverage HERE and HERE.)

“We have transformed Deezer over the past two years, and today marks a key milestone as we introduce our new identity and logo, while showcasing how our product is evolving into a platform where people can experience and live the music in a way that cannot be found anywhere else,” said Jeronimo Folgueira, CEO, Deezer (as quoted in MBW.)
