Entercom hires EVP of national business development

Entercom has hired Jim McCloud as executive vice president of national business development. He joins the broadcaster in this newly created role from Major League Baseball, where he was group director and vice president of sponsorship sales and client services. McCloud will be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing Entercom partners and building a team to identify and cultivate new potential partners.

“We are so pleased to welcome Jim to Entercom,” Entercom COO Weezie Kramer said. “Jim’s deep experience in sports, corporate sponsorships and advertising will help us unlock the full potential of our national platform across radio, digital and events.”

“I am thrilled to be joining the talented Entercom team at this exciting time for the company,” said McCloud. “Entercom’s powerful scale presents tremendous opportunities to create unique experiences for millions of consumers and drive results for our partners.”

Entercom acquired a stake in podcast development and advertising company DGital Media in August 2017. The property has since rebranded as Cadence13 and hired a slate of executive leadership.
