eMarketer analyst Eric Haggstrom shared some recent forecasts for Pandora. He noted that U.S. mobile ad revenue for Pandora is on the rise, and is growing faster than eMarketer had previously predicted. The company has revised its forecast and now anticipates that Pandora will see U.S. mobile ad revenue of $1.1 billion by 2021. The previous forecasts didn’t project Pandora to surpass the $1 billion milestone by that year. It expects Pandora to see $984 million in U.S. mobile ad revenue this year.
Haggstrom pointed to Pandora’s acquisition of the AdsWizz programmatic audio platform as a source of the company’s success in mobile ad revenue.
