Amazon has expanded its Prime Music app on the Android operating system to include its new stations feature. The app now includes hundreds of Pandora-style lean-back listening channels without advertisements. We took Amazon’s mobile radio service for a test drive when it launched on iOS last month, and our full review of the Prime Music service is here.
Access to the music platform is bundled in with Amazon’s Prime subscription, which includes two-day shipping on Amazon purchases, access to select Instant Video streaming, and other perks. The annual subscription costs $99. Non-subscribers can still purchase music via digital download or physical format through Amazon’s marketplace.
