Last week, we reported that ART19 had received certification under the Interactive Advertising Bureau’s podcast measurement compliance program. The IAB has also bestowed that certification on two other businesses: Voxnest and Whooshkaa.
The Voxnest Audience Network has been certified for its download and listener metrics. “We created VAN as part of our ongoing commitment to increasing the value of audio publishing for content creators, advertisers and audiences alike,” Voxnest President Francesco Bachieri said. “As audio advertising increases in popularity, having numbers that companies can trust is the first step in building a company’s credibility, and it is an honor to receive this certification from the IAB.”
Whooshkaa has been certified for the metrics of downloads, listeners, and ad delivery. The Australian-based business is the first company outside the United States to receive this interation of the IAB podcast certification.
These companies join NPR’s SAS and Splunk programs and Rawvoice/Blubrry as certified through the IAB Tech Lab’s 2.0 version of measurement guidelines for podcast downloads, impressions, and listeners.
