TuneIn announced a partnership with Newsy. The daily news reporting service will have its own station covering top stories that any listener can access. TuneIn Premium customers will also be able to hear exclusive, ad-free Newsy content: two weekly politics podcasts and three daily news podcasts. Newsy is a wholly owned subsidiary of The E.W. Scripps Company.
“Launching Newsy on TuneIn is a natural extension of our mission to provide news for the next generation — anytime and anywhere,” said Blake Sabatinelli, Newsy’s general manager. “Now, tens of millions of people can listen to Newsy when they’re not in front of a screen.”
The new content is available now, but we determined that the Newsy station and podcasts can be found through search. The Newsy content does not currently appear in TuneIn Premium’s Featured News section.
