TuneCore announced that it has launched its digital distribution and publishing administration business in Germany. The German debut means that artists in that market will have access to the company’s support services, such as YouRube Sound Recording Revenue collection service, LANDR, and TuneCore Fan Reviews. They can also choose to release their work to the digital storefronts that have partnered with TuneCore.
“With the ever-changing nature of the music industry, we believe that transparency and durability are essential values for growing our company and enhancing our artist services,” TuneCore CEO Scott Ackerman said. “Our global expansion into Germany not only allows us to further our mission to bring more music to more people around the world, but also upholds our goal of supporting our artists at the local level, in the best way possible. We’re confident that this expansion will further solidify TuneCore’s position as a leader in international digital music distribution.”
Germany is TuneCore’s fifth international expansion outside the U.S. The company and its services are also available in the UK, Australia, Japan, and Canada.
