Tidal has introduced its high-def music service in France. The streaming platform is now available on the French versions of the App Store and Google Play. Subscribing costs €19.99 a month.
The streaming service announced its plans to launch in France and several other European markets back in February. Tidal made its initial launch in the U.S. in October (see our review here). Both Tidal and WiMP, it’s companion service for Scandinavian markets, were operated by Aspiro, but the company recently received a successful takeover bid from rapper Jay-Z.
