Spotify to launch in Indonesia

Spotify Indonesia FB postSpotify announced that its streaming music service will be available in Indonesia later this month. Over the weekend, the music company posted to both Facebook and Twitter that it would be launching into the new market on March 30. Both the free and paid tiers of Spotify will debut on the island at the end of the month.

Indonesia will offer Spotify a potential audience of more than 250 million listeners. A few other international streaming brands already have a presence in Indonesia, including Apple Music, Guvera, and Deezer, so it won’t be without competition for those ears.
