Spotify Running has arrived on Android mobile devices. This feature makes song selections based on the tempo of the listener’s gait. Running has several preset playlists that can deliver the beat-matching technology. It was initially rolled out only to iPhones.
Running was first announced in May as part of the streaming service’s big content overhaul. We’re still waiting to hear about the other updates Spotify announced in the spring. It promised the addition of video, podcasts, and other non-music audio into its offerings. No hints yet as to when those new features will appear in the app.
