Spotify has been putting an international spin on its original podcast productions, such as a daily news show in Spanish through a partnership with Colombian newspaper El Tiempo. The latest development is a fictional show in French called L’Employé that premieres today.
The eight-episode series is a thriller set in a totalitarian state, and The Employee of the title catches and interrogates lawbreakers by any means necessary. The Employee is played by Raphaël Personnaz, The Superior is played by Virginie Ledoyen, and the rest of the cast includes Jonathan Zaccaï, Thibault de Montalembert, Garance Marillier, and Alix Poisson.
