SoundCloud announced that Gilles BianRosa will serve as its new chief product officer. In this role, BioRosa will set the product vision and strategy behind SoundCloud’s platform as well as leading the teams for product management and design. Prior to joining SoundCloud, he was chief product officer for visual display content and services at Samsung, overseeing projects in smart televisions and connected home.
“Gilles’ deep experience building interactive content experiences, his passion for music and clear understanding of SoundCloud’s unique ecosystem perfectly positions him to lead the strategy and vision for SoundCloud’s next wave of products and services to empower creators to connect directly with listeners, first on SoundCloud,” CEO Kerry Trainor said. “I couldn’t be more excited to welcome him to the team.”
