Jottings of note:
Madhouse
Libsyn Ads tells us that the company has landed an exclusive advertising deal with Osbourne Media House, for the debut of The Madhouse Chronicles, a conversational podcast starring Ozzy Osbourne and guitarist Billy Morrison. The two are longtime friends, and the show is betting on their conversational chemistry across an unlimited range of topics from aliens to drugs to rock ‘n’ roll. It’s a hybrid video (HERE) and audio (HERE) show.
Pioneer Of Sorts
Eric Nuzum’s latest Audio Insurgent column shifts from the author’s usual industry observations and recommendations, to a deep promotion of a new podcast from The Binge. Titled Cover Up: The Conspiracy Tapes, three episodes in the series have dropped for non-subscribed listening. (All episodes available to subs.) The editorial focus is John Todd, a man who claims to be a former witch, converted to Christianity. We learn that Todd was the catalyst of the modern conspiracy theory, set the stage for modern culture wars, and invented the concept of “The Illuminati” — a theoretical group which controls world events. Nuzum’s column about the genesis of this show is HERE, and the show itself is HERE.
