The Chief

Audio ad agency Oxford Road has released a manifesto on the value of audio, and the need for audio-explicit leadership in brand marketing. Called Chief Audio Officer: The Champion Every Brand Needs To Win In Audio, its overarching purpose is to promote the company’s business across all audio types. The meat of the document is a series of lengthy interview-derived quotes from brand marketing execs at Tommy John, quip, Indeed, and Shopify. Topics cover innate qualities of audio, endorsement advertising, metrics, attribution, and some futurism. It’s free; get it HERE.
