A new Kickstarter project aims to literally amp up the sound quality for people even without top-shelf headphones. The UAMP is a portable headphone amplifier that can be used with any music player. It can also provide high quality sound output through headphones, home audio systems, or car audio systems. The project’s creators said that the UAMP will improve sound quality across any caliber of headphones, with louder bass and less distortion even on the cheapest cans.
