After all the big statements about his new album “never” going to appear on Apple, Kanye West appears to have changed his mind. For one song, at least.
The track “Famous” arrived on other streaming services, including both Apple Music and Spotify, over the weekend. West had said that his The Life of Pablo album would be a Tidal exclusive. It’s the most recent cut of the song, with at least one line changed from the original take released on Tidal. No reason for the broader release has yet been given by the rapper or his camp, although West did also release a different track to SoundCloud on Sunday.
