Despite some hesitance from the minority shareholders earlier in March, Jay-Z’s bid to buy Aspiro has reportedly gone through. Last month, some shareholders had voiced skepticism that the bid did not sufficiently value the company, which owns both the Tidal and WiMP streaming services. Sune Karlsson, who represents the minority shareholder group, has allegedly reversed his recommendation for those shareholders and encouraged them to accept the bid.
The rapper and business mogul made an initial offer of $56.2 million for Aspiro through a subsidiary of his business S. Carter Enterprises.
