iHeartMedia announced that Adam Denenberg has been appointed as chief technology officer for the iHeartRadio Network. In this role, Denenberg will oversee the technology strategy and vision for the online radio platform, including technical direction, new product R&D, and technology infrastructure across the network of websites. He will assume the position effective Nov. 17.
Most recently, Denenberg spent two years as vice president of engineering at the Huffington Post, where he worked on several technology projects for the media company. His addition to the iHeartRadio team is intriguing since the service’s COO, Brian Kaminsky, also held that same post at the Huffington Post prior to joining the online radio network.
