Google Play Music has officially launched a section for podcasts. The service first teased the new feature back in October, but then went silent until an email leaked late last week. But the company has been busy in that time, signing on some of the big players from the podcast world, such as Marc Maron’s WTF, Chris Hardwick’s The Nerdist, and Neil deGrasse Tyson’s StarTalk Radio.
The podcast section will give personalized recommendations in a similar way to the music suggestions. It also has tabs for tracking top charts and followed podcasts, and ways to see all of the episodes for any show you’re subscribed to. At this point, podcasts have only rolled out to Android devices, but an iOS launch is reportedly in the works.
