Deezer is back in the headlines, this time for a deal with Feature.fm. The streaming service’s new partner bills itself as a native music advertisement platform. With this arrangement, artists can promote their work as sponsored content in Deezer’s free tier. Feature.fm has capabilities for reaching focused audiences that will be applied to Deezer’s listener base. It offers any artist a guarantee that their music will be heard by a targeted audience.
“The way people listen to the radio has changed and our mission is to be the new radio promotion tool in the music streaming era, allowing talented artists of any size to get airplay where people now consume music,” said Feature.fm Founder and CEO Lior Aharoni.
“The launch of this service means artists can easily integrate their music into the free Deezer platform, reaching the right audience at the right time,” added Tristan Rachline, vice president of ad sales for the streaming company. “Deezer’s technology has always been driven by innovation, superior design and functionality, so we are delighted to collaborate with Feature.fm to further enhance both the user and artist experiences.”
