AudioHQ has entered into a digital distribution and sales partnership with TeshMedia Group. Under this arrangement, AudioHQ will be pursuing marketing opportunities for the newly created lifestyle content. The deal will create on-demand podcasts, 24/7 streams, and short-form content features as well as working with existing shows in TeshMedia’s catalog, such as the “John Tesh Radio Show” and “Intelligence For Your Health with Connie Sellecca.”
AudioHQ is particularly focused on working with a “middle market” in audio publishing. “There are bigger brands and services that deserve to be sold in a more granular and targeted way,” CEO Matt Cutair said of the company’s strategy. “They deserve to be presented to advertisers as premium offering.”
Last month AudioHQ partnered with crowdsourced music service 8tracks, and will represent that platform’s audio ad inventory, currently in development. 8tracks has about 7-million monthly listeners, and the alliance with AudioHQ is an example of the “middle market” that Cutair believes is under-served.
More than just an ad-rep firm, AudioHQ has a broad service range. In the TeshMedia deal, Matt Cutair explained to RAIN a deep content development partnership. “Our partnership with TeshMedia Group will create NEW digital audio content and sales opportunities against that content. Through the partnership we will collectively create on-demand audio/podcasts, 24/7 streams and short-form content features which will all be distributed through various platforms. This content will leverage TeshMedia Group’s robust content archive and also include new content specifically created for these new online distribution channels.”
