24% YoY growth for Libsyn Ads in first half; Chief Revenue Officer position created

Libsyn Ads has sent a robust business growth story packaged with a full schedule of the company’s speaking appearances in next week’s Podcast Movement conference. (Libsyn representatives will participate in eight sessions during the three-day event. Info HERE.)

But the main news is robust growth of host-read ads in the first half of 2024 — 24% growth exactly. “Further growth expected in the second half of the year,” the company predicts.

Along with this metric, and to accelerate future upside, Libsyn Ads has promoted Executive Vice President of Sales Rick Selah to Chief Revenue Officer.Selah was Co-Founder of PodAdReps in 2018. Before that he served as Vice President Sales at CastPlus.

“Podcast advertising is rapidly gaining traction, drawing more advertisers eager to reach engaged audiences with sophisticated targeting and measurement on par with other digital channels,” observed Selah. “We’re continuing to invest in product innovation and deepen our talent pool to expand relationships with advertisers and agencies, empowering more brands to harness the power of our host-read, dynamic, and programmatic ad offerings as we enter our next phase of accelerated growth.”

The executive promotion celebration doesn’t stop there at Libsyn Ads: Stephen Pickens and Anthony Savelli have both been promoted to Executive Vice President of Sales.

We’re not done yet: Stephen Perlstein has also joined the team as Senior Vice President of Publishing. He joined Viral Nation last year as Head of Podcasts and is Professor of Entertainment Business at California State University, Fullerton.
