Digital distributor TuneCore has entered a partnership with Sentric Music, a British publishing rights organization, to improve its services for independent artists. Under the deal, TuneCore will use Sentric’s technology and direct global collection network for an all-in-one publishing administration service that offers members more chances to collect revenue on their work. Features of the all-in-one service include managing splits, monitoring real-time registration status, access to comprehensive earning reports, and referrals to co-writers and band members to complete song registration. These updates also means TuneCore members can expect to see payouts made up to 18 months faster.
“We’re thrilled to bring TuneCore artists these exciting enhancements to our publishing administration services, which will help them earn additional revenue and get paid more quickly,” TuneCore CEO Scott Ackerman said. “At TuneCore, we strive to provide the best tools and services for our artists, helping them maximize career growth and income.”
