Canada’s Bell Media has entered an exclusive music publishing and administration deal with ole, an independent rights management company. The arrangement covers the in-house music library of the telecom. Bell Media has assets in television, radio, out-of-home advertising, and digital media. It also played a part in iHeartRadio rolling out in Canada.
“With our extensive music catalog, this is a great opportunity for us to grow its use internationally and capture new revenue streams,” said Tyson Parker, Bell’s head of artist and music industry relations.
“ole is very pleased to be working with Bell Media and its world-class content production teams,” ole chairman and CEO Robert Ott said. “I look forward to adding value to what this talented team is creating.”
