In its latest Weekly Insight (HERE) Edison Research reports that Spotify’ U.S. reach encompasses 25% of Americans. That attainment is a 317% rise over 10 years, as illustrated below.

The metrics represent 13+ Americans, reporting that they listen to Spotify “in a typical day.” In Edison’s reckoning, Spotify’s U.S. reach is second only to YouTube’s audio-centered offerings.
These calculations include both Spotify’s ad-free presentation, and ad-supported listening.
“Not only has Spotify charted an impressive growth in daily consumption, it has done so among an incredibly full and competitive landscape of other audio options,” Edison observes.
