SNL revisits podcasting once more

Few subjects in culture and entertainment escape the notice of the writers at Saturday Night Live. The sketch show turned its humor on podcasting late last year with a bit about The Poddy’s, staging an imaginary awards show that poked fun at some notable personalities from the industry. Now it’s back with a new one.

Host David Harbour stars in a commercial advertising the “Father-Son Podcasting Microphone,” ideal for connecting family members who are terrible at communicating without putting the conversation out on the Internet for everyone to hear. Oh, family.
