Rebranded social music app Noted emphasizes discovery

Noted logo canvasNew social music app Noted launched today. The platform, which originally debuted last year as Nusiki, has rebranded itself with improved technology focused on discovery. It combines algorithms with analysis of social interactions to make recommendations. As with most social music programs, there’s a feed of the music posted by friends, options for conversation around a post, and playlist construction features.

“People don’t want to have to dig too far for new music,” co-founder and CEO Ben Hewitt said. “Complementing simplified music sharing with advanced technology is a huge step forward for personalized online music discovery.”
